Global Design System (GDS)
Role: Creative Director
Core Domain: Global Design Systems, Agentic AI Workflows, Enterprise Governance, Multi-Channel Cohesion
User Journey Scope: Full Funnel (Learn → Buy → Get across all Dotcom & Digital Touchpoints)
Executive Summary
As Creative Director, I lead the strategy, architecture, and cross-functional governance of the Comcast Business Global Design System (GDS)—the single source of truth across the enterprise digital ecosystem. Built natively in Figma and deployed across the dotcom space, the GDS establishes strict design, interaction, and technical standards to ensure visual cohesion across rapid campaign rollouts and major product launches.
To solve enterprise-scale design and code drift across local, cross-functional, and offshore teams, I spearheaded research into evolving AI agentic workflows. By exploring how Figma, design token architecture, and code connectors integrate within a broader agentic process, this research aims to streamline token propagation—spanning semantic layers, color palettes, typography, and atomic/component design builds—while establishing unified governance across UX, UI, Copy, Development, Engineering, Brand, Sales, Merchandising, and third-party marketing vendors.

Key Initiatives & Strategic Impact
A. AI Agentic Workflow Research & Drift Reduction Focus
- Figma-to-Code Token Research: Spearheaded research into automated Figma and code connectors within a broader agentic process workflow, evaluating programmatic synchronization of design tokens across design and production environments.
- Proactive Drift Reduction Strategy: Designed strategic research frameworks to align in-house UX/UI, engineering, and offshore teams around centralized decisions, establishing mechanisms to prevent style fragmentation across campaign and product builds.
- Future-Proof Multi-Team Adoption: Conceptualized scalable documentation and automated pipeline connectors to enable seamless system onboarding for diverse cross-functional teams and external marketing vendors.
B. Enterprise Token Architecture & Component Builds
- Unified Token Hierarchy: Established system-wide governance for foundational semantic tokens, color systems, typography scales, and interaction states in Figma.
- Atomic Design Methodology: Governed component architecture from base atomic elements to complex, responsive UI assemblies, supporting both quick-turn marketing initiatives and core platform features.
- Dotcom Brand Cohesion: Standardized UI patterns across the full user journey to guarantee consistent brand identity across all Comcast Business digital properties.
Workflows & Governance
- System Strategy & Architecture: Defined token models, semantic rules, and component structures in Figma to serve as the single enterprise source of truth.
- In-House UX/UI & Engineering Alignment: Partnered closely with internal product design and engineering leads to validate component mechanics, technical feasibility, and token deployment.
- Agentic Process Exploration: Led forward-looking research into AI agents and connectors bridging design files, code repositories, and documentation.
- Cross-Departmental Governance: Facilitated system adoption across Copy, Brand, Sales, Merchandising, and external vendor partners to maintain governance across releases.
