The client ask was to drive traffic into restaurant and create awareness around the limited time offer Summer Splasher drinks and Appetizer Sampler.
We created two Augmented Reality games for the IHOP Play App. Using this app, an in-restaurant visit became a true branded experience. Both game utilized your mobile devices camera. You began by scanning the table add for either Splashers or the appetizer. Users were encouraged to play the games and then create screengrabs to share across Facebook and Twitter. IHOP's website and social channels helped to promote downloading the app and going into restaurant to play.
